Tree Protection Plan and Arboricultural Method Statement
A Tree Protection Plan will normally be developed from the Tree Constraints Plan, incorporating the finalised site layout. It will incorporate survey details, a site plan and a report, covering:
- justification for removal/retention/treework proposals
- the layout and specification of Tree Protection Fencing
- Root Protection Areas
- proposals for moving existing trees
- construction details, and methods of working, for any activity that will breach Root Protection Areas
- proposals for Arboricultural Supervision during construction
- comments supporting the sustainability of proposals
- any ongoing maintenance or protection needed.
Structural tree planting, to mitigate essential tree removal, can be specified if not covered in separate landscape proposals
